Issue/Introduction

What command does Autosys run, to check the agent status ?

Resolution

Autosys is performs a low level operating system socket call to the Agent host's Agent port.

Using such a call, it connect to the socket port directly.

If this fails, then the agent will be set to "unqualified" status.
