CA Privileged Access Manager (PAM)

Issue/Introduction

PAM Admin introduced new Target Discovery jobs in their environment and since then their PAM primaries are not longer accessible.

Environment

PAM 4.1.1 with our minimum recommended Virtual Server values

Cause

PAM appliance was running in production environment (with our minimum memory requirements).

To compound the problem, the VMware server wasn't fully allocating (reserved) in VMware, so PAM didn't have the resources to run these additional jobs.

Resolution

Please open a support case with Broadcom PAM Support team, who can SSH into the backend and potentially clean up our DB.
