Is there a way to extract Generator Details from GT Datamaker?

Issue/Introduction

We need to modify the SQL statements used in the logic of some of our existing data generators. We have multiple columns with multiple rows of data which needs modification. The process would be very time-consuming for us to manually modify this in each of the generator/data pools. Is there a way where we can extract the details defined in the generator/data pool into an Excel spreadsheet, or CSV file, so that we can edit and append the changes easily and quickly?

TDM 4.9.x and greater

Resolution

There is not a way to export or import Generator data from GT DataMaker and TDM Portal into an Excel Spreadsheet, or CSV file directly. However, we have had customers create Javelin flows that use the TDM Portal APIs to extract generators from one Portal server (gtrep repository) and import them into another Portal server (gtrep repository). The same method can be used to export the generator data, make the necessary modification, and import the changes as needed. By the way, the TDM Software Development team has plans to add a Data Generator export/import feature for TDM Portal in the near future (post TDM 4.11).
