Issue/Introduction

You observe inconsistent behavior when editing some attributes like the Default % Allocation and how they affect the per-period metrics (e.g.: Monthly Allocation) in periods that have been manually edited as compared to those that have not been edited.

Resolution

This behavior is expected.

The allocation creates a non-default allocation segment when the value is entered manually in a per-period allocation, so any changes in the Default % Allocations would not apply to this segment. This is why you observe that the per-period value does not change when changing the Default %.

However, when updating the calendar for a resource (like changing a working day to a non-working day), the allocation % is still be the same, and as the number of working days is different, the absolute value for the allocation changes.
