Issue/Introduction

Deployment of OS Image to a Dell latitude 5440 Laptop fails with error :

X:\windows\system32>wpeinit

X:\windows\system32>amd64\ca-osim\osimrun.cmd

The command completed successfully.

Environment

Client Automation - All versions

Cause

This error occurs usually due to the WinPE Boot Image not having the correct network drivers.
WinPE Boot image has not the Network drivers for Dell Latitude 5440

Resolution

Find the Network drivers for DELL Latitude 5440 from here :
Latitude E5440

 
And then update the WinPE Boot Image with these drivers using this procedure : How to add additional network drivers to a WinPE boot image
