The UIMAPI calls for alarms are not working

Issue/Introduction

The UIMAPI calls for the following are not working and are not responsive:

• GET : /uimapi/alarms
• POST : /uimapi/alarms 

When testing these calls via the Swagger interface, the interface displays the spinning graphic labeled: "loading".

Environment

• UIM 23.4.4
• UIMAPI 20.4

Cause

The ems probe may become non-responsive causing the UIMAPI calls to also become non-responsive. 

Resolution

Follow the below steps on the Primary Hub Server:

• Deactivate the EMS probe
• Activate the EMS probe

Additional Information

Broadcom Support suggests that you upgrade from UIM 20.4 to UIM 23.4 as UIM 20.4 will reach end of support on Nov 3, 2025.
