Issue/Introduction

Running DBSQLPR SELECT on a table in base CASYSTEMTABLES fails with

SQLCODE -999 BAD ROW LENGTH 

Environment

z/OS

Datacom 15.1 ( and prior versions)

Cause

Wrong database definition

Resolution

1. Close the URT for DBID 1000 ( or the alternate number) in CICS ( if you have one)
2. Run DBUTLTY COMM OPTION=CONSOLE,OPTION2='SYSTEMDBID_DELETE 1000'
3. Run DDUPDATE using the cards from CABDSAMP(BTG1000)
