Cannot Delete Target Device out of the PAM UI

Issue/Introduction

PAM Admin is attempting to delete Target Devices out of the UI that they no longer use.  When doing do, they get the following error message:

PAM-CMN-2265: Target Server <target device> is not deleted. Reason: <target device>

When attempting to delete a Target Application that is associated with this device, they get the error:

PAM-UI-1003: Delete Application failed. Application in use by Password View Policy.

 

Environment

PAM 4.1.x

Cause

Password View Policy was tied to a Service Desk Integration User

Resolution

PAM Admin deleted the Password View Policy that was tied to the Target Device they were trying to delete.
