Unable to register Connector Server during upgrade

Issue/Introduction

We are upgrading the IDAM Vapp to 14.5 in our production environment and getting error while running the provisioning server installer to upgrade the connector server.

This is reported in the install logs:

ProductException: (error code = 200; message="Java error"; exception = [ProductException: (error code = 200; message="Java error"; exception = [ProductException: (error code = 200; message="Java error"; exception = [java.lang.Exception: Unable to register Connector Server])])])

Resolution

The IMPS service must be in a started state when running the connector server upgrade with "register JCS with IMPS" checked
