Use of WebPulse service over HTTP

Issue/Introduction

In a continuous effort to improve the security of our service delivery, WebPulse URL categorization requests will no longer be supported over the HTTP protocol as of Mar 29, 2024.

 

 

Cause

URL categorization requests over HTTP are not supported nor possible in current versions of PacketShaper.  This change only affects customers running older and currently unsupported PacketShaper versions.

Resolution

Customers running PacketShaper versions 10.9.1.0 or earlier should upgrade to the latest release.
