Windows Explorer crashes after install the DLP Endpoint agent

Issue/Introduction

After installing the DLP 16.0 base agent, Windows Explorer crashes.

Explorer can be restarted by either:

• Rebooting the endpoint
• Restarting explorer.exe in Task Manager

Environment

The agent version is 16.0.00000.60568
The server version is 16.0.00200.60328
Windows 10 and 11

Resolution

Uninstalled the base 16.0 agent and installed the 16.0 MP2 HF6 (16.0.0026.60578) agent.
Windows Explorer no longer crashes when the 16.0 MP2 HF6 version of the agent is installed.
