PPM-012 error when saving vmware probe configuration in Admin Console

Issue/Introduction

When trying to save a new profile in the vmware probe, I am getting a PPM-012 error for "processing of operation set_ctd_configuration failed" and the configuration cannot be saved.

I am able to make other changes like adjusting the loglevel but cannot add a new profile.

Cause

corrupt cfg

Resolution

If the .cfg file has become corrupted while saving the profile this issue may occur.

Steps to resolve:
1. delete the vmware probe from the robot
2. remove the leftover folder at $NIMSOFT_HOME/nimsoft/probes/application/vmware/
3. redeploy the probe from the archive
4. reconfigure the probe from scratch
