Issue/Introduction

Both Devices and Device Groups have the possibility of adding custom tags to their definition

In the case of devices that allows for them to be filtered in the Access Page or also under Devices and other similar pages

The question is what role the Tag field for Device Groups plays

Resolution

Tags in Devices and Device Groups are a way of Dynamically organizing Devices in the corresponding groups having the same tag

For instance, if Device1 has got a Tag named Testtag, and there is a Device Group, DeviceGroup1 whose tag is also Testtag, the Device1 will  automatically be assigned to DeviceGroup1 without the need to do so explicitly. In the same way, if we remove Testtag from Device1, it will be removed automatically from DeviceGroup1

In other words, Tags in Device Groups help dynamically add or remove devices to them
