We are getting below error on oracle database server monitoring and team is chasing us how we can resolve these kind of alerts.
As per the DB team oracle db is up and running fine from last 7 days but also while trying to check connection status at nimsoft console end profile connection is also showing ok.
Alert description:
Profile odintnl, instance ASC, cannot connect to database: (ORA-12541: TNS:no listener
UIM 20.4 CU9
Oracle 5.45
You need to work with your Oracle DBA to determine why the oracle errors are being recieved ( ORA-12541) on the target server defined in the probe profile "XXXX". May be DBA team need to check the $ORACLE_HOME/network/log/listener. log.
