XCOM Error message Application popup: xcomtcp.exe - Application Error : The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142) but the transfer is successful.

Issue/Introduction

When performing a SENDJOB to a Windows system, the following error is displayed on Windows, even though the file transfer is successful:

Application popup: xcomtcp.exe - Application Error : The application was  unable to start correctly (0xc0000142). Click OK to close the application.

This error may happen for other dll's or programs also, such as kernel32.dll,  XCOMQM.EXE, and XCOMTCP.EXE.

Resolution

To resolve this problem, define the incoming XCOM userids to the XCOM BATCH Interactive Group.
