Building A NCM Capture Running Config For A10 Firewalls

Issue/Introduction

We have A10 firewalls that need to be backed up. The authentication is only user-level (no enable), and two commands are necessary for the config download: "term  len 0" and "show run". Is there a template I can use to build the script?

Version: Any
Component: Network Configuration Manager

Resolution

- Create a custom Device Family
- Select the custom Device Family
- Click on the Information tab in the Component Detail panel
- Expand the General Configuration subview
- Add "term  len 0" and then "show run" to the Running Commands field
- Set "show run" for the Running Capture Command field
- Expand the Device Configuration Transfer Setting subview
- Set the username and password

- Add the models to the custom Device Family
- Select one of the device models
- Click on the Host Configuration tab in the Component Detail panel
- Click on the Capture Configuration icon
