When creating the rules in Cloud SWG portal administrators need sometimes add new URLs or IP addresses to apply them in those rules.
Some URLs can be incorrect (especially when entering them manually there can be a typo) or simply some of them are not anymore necessary and administrators wants to remove them so they are not present in the available list.
In the below example, there is a domain "example.com" added with a typo:
Cloud SWG portal policy
In the Cloud SWG portal in "Policy" there are 2 sections:
• Policy - where different rules for various policies can be created. Here is the place where new domains/IPs can be added
• Additional Configuration - as a name states, this is the place where more actions can be performed. And here those entries can be removed:
- Go to "Object Library":
- Switch to "User Defined Objects":
- On the left side, select proper Source or Destination (in this case - URLs) and search for that entry on the right side in the "Search" field:
- Finally, mark the entry which was found and select "Delete Selection" button and confirm clicking on "Delete":
- Once this is removed you will notice that the number of entries will be decreased:
and also the removed domain will not be available anymore as an available entry in the policies rules:
