Password entered in :READ gets truncated when read from ACT

Issue/Introduction

When using PREP_PROCESS_REPORT on the Activation report for a :READ statement with Input Handling of "D", the last character in the result is truncated.

Problem seems to happen only with obfuscated values (begins with --10). If read is called without D (no obfuscation) everything works.

Known Defect.

Resolution

Known defect scheduled to be fixed in version 21.0.10 tentatively scheduled for end of April 2024.(Version and timeline may change depending on internal testing)
