Issue/Introduction

With LOG(CMDA) and/or LOG(CMDS) set to log TSS commands, is there a way in the TSSUTIL to limit the output to one of the following?

- Failed TSS commands
- Successful TSS command
- Top Secret control option changes

Resolution

With LOG(CMDA,CMDS) set:

- To see only failed TSS commands, use:
REPORT EVENT(VIOL) CLASS(O) LONG END

An SRC/DRC of *08*-000000CA indicates insufficient authority or invalid TSS command function (ie syntax error or acid not defined).

- To see successful TSS commands (exclude failed TSS commands), use:
REPORT CLASS(O) DRC(00) LONG END

- With the LONG option specified on the TSSUTIL REPORT statement, control option changes show:
RESOURCE TYPE & NAME      CNTL OPT

- With the LONG option specified on the TSSUTIL REPORT statement, a TSS command for something other than a control option change shows:
RESOURCE  TYPE & NAME :   CTL-OPTN
