Issue/Introduction

In the Modern UX, trying to sort by multiple attributes in Status Report, such as Overall Status (1st, ascending) and Name (2nd, ascending) does not provide the expected results:

B / On Track

C / On Track

D / On Track

E / On Track

A / Needs Help

The Overall Status sorting seems to be correct, but the results of Name for each Overall Status seems to be unexpected.

One possible example:

C / On Track

D / On Track

B / On Track

E / On Track

A / Needs Help

Environment

Any Clarity supported version.

Cause

Overall Status is a Calculated Numeric attribute that has 3 display mappings ("On Track", from 0 to 40; "Needs Help", from 40 to 90; "At Risk", from 90 to 100), so regardless of the value shown, it is still a and behaves like a numeric attribute.

Resolution

If the numeric value for the Overall Status of the previous example is the following:

A / 50 - Needs Help

B / 20 - On Track

C / 0 - On Track

D / 0 - On Track

E / 20 - On Track

Then, the expected sorting results by Overall Status attribute (1st, ascending) and Name (2nd, ascending) would be the following:

C / 0 - On Track

D / 0 - On Track

B / 20 - On Track

E / 20 - On Track

A / 50 - Needs Help
