Deleting AFP Resources (AFP RSRC) from the View database

Issue/Introduction

Trying to remove AFP Resources (AFP RSRC) from the View database using the /DELETE command in the SARBCH utility 

The SARBCH utility ends with the following message : - 

SARBCD10  Requested sysout not found in master index

Resolution

The View backup cycle evaluates and makes a determination whether an AFP Resource should be removed based on the retention period of those Reports using those AFP Resources.

The SARBCH Utility does not allow for an AFP Resource to be deleted from the View database. 

The SARSAM3 utility can be run to list out the AFP Resources stored in a View database ,the report will list out the Resources and the SYSOUT ID's associated with those Resources , those AFP Resources will remain in a View database for as long as the Reports remain in the View database

Additional Information

AFP Resources (AFP RSRC) cannot be deleted from the View database using the SARBCH utility 

AFP Resources (AFP RSRC) can be shared by different report iterations.

The View backup cycle evaluates whether or not an  AFP Resource can be removed.
