Issue/Introduction

What is the maximum number of printer filters that can utilised on the DLP Endpoint Agent.

v15.8.x, v16.x

Resolution

There is no specified limit for the number of printer's in the printer filter, however the following should be kept in mind when adding new filters to the Filter by Printer Properties in the agent configuration in the Enforce console which can impact their efficacy: 

1. Max character in the printer name we can enter from enforce console is 2048 characters. Although, on windows, printer names can't be more than 220 characters.
2. Each line should contain only one printer name. The use of the comma separator is not supported between two printer names on the same line or new line.
3. There is no limit to the number of lines you can have.
