Threshold Profile attached to Custom Collection in DX NetOps CA Performance Management (CAPM) not generating any alarms/events

Issue/Introduction

Threshold Profile created in CAPM do not generate any events/alarms even though Trend report shows utilization is well above the threshold set. 

The Threshold Profile is attached to a Custom Collection.

Environment

DX NetOps CAPM all supported releases

Cause

The group that the Threshold Profile is attached to SHOULD NOT be a Custom Collection, but a normal Group:

 

Custom Collections only support direct devices.

Also, Threshold Profiles do no create alerts, but events, located under the Events tab of the TP:

 

Resolution

Create a normal user group that supports "include children".
