TPLSEXPC job fails after applying LU12859

Issue/Introduction

After applying PTF LU12859, attempting to run the TPLSEXPC job fails with messages similar to the following:

Exception in thread "main" com.ibm.jzos.ZFileException: //DD:CSVWSLB: fopen() failed; EDC5037I The specified ddname was not found.

Exception in thread "main" com.ibm.jzos.ZFileException: //DD:CSVMQQ: fopen() failed; EDC5037I The specified ddname was not found.

 

Environment

Topology 1.2.0

Cause

PTF LU12859 updates the TPLSEXPC job by adding additional DD names, but the HOLDDATA within the PTF fails to mention that after the apply, the new TPLSEXPC job member must be copied from the CTPLJCL target library to the INSTJCL deployment library. Running the old TPLSEXPC job from the deployment library after applying LU12859 will result in the failure. 

Resolution

After applying LU12859, copy the updated TPLSEXPC job member from the CTPLJCL target library to the INSTJCL deployment library before attempting to run it.
