Symantec VIP PUSH notifications not working with Apple Watch

Issue/Introduction

Apple Watch is not receiving the VIP PUSH notifications, or the PUSH notifications are showing on Apple Watch and still not registering the response.

• Note: PUSH may still be working on the iPhone. This issue is only affecting the Apple Watch linked to the iPhone device

Environment

VIP Access for iPhone version 4.3.3

Reported from Apple Watch OS: 10.0.1 (21R360), Series 6 –  42mm

 

Cause

Changes in the Apple Watch notifications cause the iPhone to not register the PUSH response

Resolution

This will be corrected in future VIP Access for iPhone release. Please watch the Apple App store for release information.
