Issue/Introduction

Step-by-step guidance for customers who wish to disconnect an AWS Securlet from CloudSOC and perform clean-up procedures in their AWS account. The Securlet was initially deployed using a CloudFormation (CFT) template. This document outlines the necessary steps to ensure a smooth disconnection process and tidy up of resources within the AWS environment.

Resolution

1. Delete Connection from CloudSOC:

   • Log in to CloudSOC.
   • Navigate to the connections page.
   • Identify the connection associated with the AWS Securlet.
   • Delete the connection.

2. Clean Up AWS Resources:

   • Access your AWS Management Console.
   • Locate the CloudFormation (CFT) stack deployed for the Securlet.
   • Delete the CloudFormation stack.
   • Confirm the deletion to initiate the cleanup process.
