Issue/Introduction

Portlet or other UI Classic Pages embedded as Channels in Modern Pages get truncated at the bottom post 16.2.1 upgrade.

During the upgrade testing of version 16.2.1, we noticed that a channel in MUX that takes us to Classic UI does not have the correct zoom level.

You have a PPM Dashboard and a Jaspersoft-based custom report. Within the Project blueprint, you have a tab called PPM Dashboard, which is basically a channel to Classic UI to run this custom report. Post-upgrade, you saw that you have to zoom our screen to 50%, and only then can you see the Submit button at the bottom. This is happening for another channels as well.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Classic  - Administration - Portlet Pages
  2. Add a new Portlet Page
  3. Add a Filter
  4. Add Content, 4 or 5 portlets
  5. Publish
  6. Embed URL into a Page Blueprint
    1. For example: ../niku/nu#action:custom_dashboard&puiHidePPMTabs=on&puiFullscreen=on
    2. Another example of the Channel: ./../../../../niku/nu#action:nmc.reportPropertiesNew&job_definition_id=5xxxxxx
  7. Open a Page using this blueprint, Not all of the portlet page is visible at the bottom and I cannot scroll down to see more

Expected Results:  Able to scroll down ultimately to see all of the content

Actual Results: The bottom of the portlet page is truncated

Resolution

Workaround:

  • Toggle off the 16.2.1 Header and Breadcrumb Layout may help and you can navigate to MUX -->Administration --> Feature Toggles .
  • Alternatively,  adjust the browser zoom percentage to 50%.
