Issue/Introduction

What clients commands can be sent from a SEPM to the SEP Linux agent.

Environment

• Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP)

Cause

Changes to the client for 14.3 RU1.

Resolution

14.3 RU1, when the client transitioned to the Symantec Agent for Linux, the only command accepted by the client is Scan. 

You can force immediate LiveUpdate or enable/disable AutoProtect using the command line from the Linux system itself.  For additional command line options, see the following article:
