File Watcher bugs in the handling of class events and in job events

Issue/Introduction

Two problems are existing in current Dollar Universe versions regading file watchers:

1. File Watchers leaves an event in status 'started' which never gets removed automatically.
Even if the triggered Uproc has the option 'No Memorization'.

2. If a file watchers is executed that runs a uproc that belongs to a compatibility class, a class event will created that never will be purged.

This happens when the first condition match takes place, the event status is 'opened' will remain indefinitely.

Environment

Dollar Universe : 6.x and 7.x

 

 

Cause

These are defects in the Dollar Universe solution that can be encountered when file watchers are used.

Resolution

In current version, refrain from using uproc conditioned on uprocs classes

A fix to these problems will come in a coming version of the Dollar Universe Solution.
