Issue/Introduction

Does OOTB SMTP provider support HTML email formatting in VIP Authentication Hub? We only see Plain Text email message being delivered.

Resolution

OOTB SMTP provider only delivers the email in Plain text, which is normally sufficient for OTP delivery message. HTML email formatting is not supported as of now in OOTB SMTP Provider.

Use of email SPI will allow you to control and customize the email however you want, in this case AuthHub just makes API call to the SPI with the OTP and user details and it can be delivered however format you need that be in.
