Clarity cannot change the Jaspersoft Ad Hoc date format to yyyy-mm-dd

Issue/Introduction

Upgraded to Clarity 16.1.3 & Jaspersoft 8.1 from Jaspersoft 7.8

After upgrading the environments to Jaspersoft 8.1, the User cannot change the Ad Hoc date format to yyyy-mm-dd

 

1)    Login to Clarity
2)    Home/Advance Reporting
3)    AdHoc Views
4)    Click Create Ad Hoc View
5)    Select the Domain “Project Management” (OOTB Domain)
6)    Select the Source and move it under “Selected Field” (Table View)
7)    Drag the object "Project Name" & "Start Date" into “Column”
8)    The data will populate and the Start Date will show mm/dd/yy instead of yyyy-mm-dd

Expected Results:  We should successfully change the Date Format in an Ad-Hoc View
 
Actual Results: We cannot change the Date Format in an Ad-Hoc view

 

Resolution

This issue has been reported to our internal engineering team: DE78855

The workaround will be if you export the report in XL and you can customize the field to convert the "date-format"
