Documentation states:
NOTE ABOUT THE “FINANCIAL PLANS” MODULE: Broadcom is announcing the deprecation of the Project Financial Plans module, which is scheduled to be removed in the May 2024 release (16.2.2). The Project Financial Plans module will no longer be enhanced, and maintenance and technical support will be discontinued effective May 20, 2024. Customers should use the Project Financials module in lieu of this functionality.
What does that mean and which module will be staying?
The documentation is referring to the MUX only.
In there, the original Financial Plans (which is the same module and functionality as you see in Classic) is what is being deprecated. The other module is called Financials.
In MUX, if you open a copy of a blueprint (such as Project) you can edit it and click on the modules icon. There you should see the Financials as well as the Financial Plans modules.
This is the Classic Financial Plans and it is staying in Classic.
These are the two Financial modules available in MUX. If you are on a later version of Clarity (16.x on) you should already have the Financials module in your blueprint
This is the Financial Plans module which is being deprecated
Note that the Financials module is much more robust and continues to be enhanced.
