Large IDMS buffers are loaded into the 64-bit memory cache.
How to encrypt or exclude 64-bit buffers containing sensitive data from SVC dumps.
Release: 19.0
There is no encryption when an SVC dump is taken and there is no z/OS dump option to prevent the dumping of 64-bit memory.
Nothing can be done from IDMS but IBM has a feature called Data Privacy for Diagnostics (DPfD) which allows you to redact data in an SVC dump,
See IBM documentation section Data Privacy for Diagnostics (DPfD).
