Once text is entered into a Software Package's Description field it cannot be cleared and left blank

Issue/Introduction

Once text is entered into the Description field of a Software Package, it is then not possible to clear this field and leave it blank as shown in the screenshot below:

Cause

Confirmed to be a bug

Resolution

This was fixed in the ITMS 8.7.2 release as documented in the Release Notes - Fixed Issues under Fixed issues for Software Management Solution: "Cannot clear a software package description after it is entered."
