A test client was created in AWI, but when trying to delete it an error message dialog was displayed that stated:
An unexpected error occurred. Further details are available in the logfiles.
In the REST log file the following is seen:
U00045098 Method 'DELETE', URL: 'http:/server_name:8088/ae/api/v1/0/system/clients/1', received from IP: '[IP_ADDRESS]'
U00045099 The server replied with following status: '403'
U00045098 Method 'DELETE', URL: 'http://server_name:8088/ae/api/v1/0/system/clients/2', received from IP: '[IP_ADDRESS]'
U00045014 Exception 'com.automic.persistence.api.ReportException: "null"' at 'com.automic.persistence.impl.ReportPersistenceServiceImpl.checkReportHeader():303'.
and then a forced trace happens:
U00003620 Routine 'com.automic.rest.provider.BaseExceptionMapper' forces trace because of error.
Automic Automation version 21.0.8 and 21.0.8 HF1
This was a defect introduced in 21.0.8.
This defect has been fixed as of version 21.0.9.
If an upgrade cannot immediately happen, a workaround is available.
The workaround is to use the client copy utility. This will work to delete the client until the application can be upgraded.
