Issue/Introduction

Question regarding the EP Agent. 

Remove EP Agent and re-install the EP agent due to a version inconsistency on our Gateway and as per the documentation online doesn't mention anything about restarting the gateway after the stand-alone version of the EP agent is installed.

Requesting clarification on the restart of the gateway after re-installing the EP Agent.

Gateway 11 and CA Precision API Monitoring 3.4

CA Precision API Monitoring 3.4  for Gateway 11 Involves getting the infrastructure agent from APM SaaS portal

Step1 Install API Gateway Infrastructure Agent API Agent does not require a gateway restart

Step 2 Install the Solution Kit does require gateway restart

EPAgent has reached End-of-Service in its product support life cycle. Users using an on-prem APM server can now download the API Gateway Infrastructure Agent and are recommended to use SaaS installation for API monitoring. For further details, see SaaS installation.
