Management Center generates "Search Failed An unexpected server error occurred"

Issue/Introduction

Management Center is generating error "Search Failed An unexpected server error occurred" while checking policy objects in the Folder which contains more that 150 Policy objects.

MC log.log file indicates following error:

[XXXX-XX-XX XX:XX:XX.XXX] ERROR http-nio-8080-exec-8 ch.ralscha.extdirectspring.controller.RouterController Error calling method: searchPolicies com.fasterxml.jackson.databind.exc.ValueInstantiationException: Cannot construct instance of `com.bluecoat.cm.model.service.criteria.InFilter`, problem: InFilter cannot support more than 150 values

Environment

- Management Center is deployed to push policies to edge SWG proxies. 

- Policy Folder contains more than 150 policy files. 

Cause

Policy object count has a limit of 150 per MC design. 

Resolution

Remove old unnecessary policy files to make total amount of policies less than 150. 

Additional Information

In case if no policy objects are being shown under list, expand Filters and click Clear button.
