What does LCHG E/EXT mean? What security calls are made?
The new LCHG value of E or EXT allows you to control label changes through an external security rule. If LCHG is set to Extended, a security call is done to determine if the label change will be allowed or not. This new security call is very similar to the security calls previously done by the FUNC option. Within the class or key of CATAPE, CAT, or CA@APE (depending on your external security system), a check is done on a resource of x2yRES.Vvvvvvv.UCBnnnn or x2yNORES.Vvvvvvv.UCBnnnn. The x and y values would be NL, SL, or AL.
