Issue/Introduction

 

If I use the PREFIX or PREFIX 2 keywords and the resulting DSN is longer than 44 characters, what happens?

 

Resolution

 

The DSN can only be 44 characters. If the new PREFIX/PREFIX2 causes the name to be longer than 44, COPYCAT will truncate the DSN from the right side.
