Vantage Web GUI tomcat server stuck at startup

Issue/Introduction

At the install and configuration of Vantage the Vantage Web server get stuck at startup.

The last lines at the startup of the Tomcat server are:

No messages in the logs, or in the STDOUT or STDERR.. 

Cause

An error in the STDENV parameters

Resolution

It is in the STDENV input statements

Line:
IJO="$IJO -Dvantage.log.dir="${var}"

Should be updated to (remove the double-quote before dollar sign):
IJO="$IJO -Dvantage.log.dir=${var}"

 

Remove the double quote after the equal sign and before the dollar sign..
