Dependent Lookup Field not getting Updated in List View

Issue/Introduction

The dependent lookup field is not cleared in the grid layout when the main field is changed in a scenario where both the dependent lookup fields are made required.
The behavior is not consistent in all the views.

Steps to Reproduce:

New UI:

1. Login to Clarity
2. Configure the Project Type and Project Category fields in the grid layout
3. Make sure that the Project Type and Project Category fields are made as required at the attribute level
4. Update the value of Project Type fields from Grid layout

Classic UI:

1. Login to Clarity
2. Configure the Project Type and Project Category fields in the grid layout
3. Make sure that the Project Type and Project Category fields are made as required at the attribute level
4. Update the value of Project Type fields from List layout

Expected Results: 

New UI Grid View : The value in Project Category field should be cleared and an error saying 'All required fields need to be filled out' should appear

Classic UI List View: The value in Project Category field should be cleared and an error saying 'All required fields need to be filled out' should appear
 

Actual Results: 

New UI Grid View : The previous value is retained in the Project Category field and the new value on Project Type is saved
New UI Detail View: The value on Project Category is Cleared but the new value on Project Type is saved

Classic UI List View: The previous value is retained in the Project Category field and the new value on Project Type is saved
Classic UI Layout edit View: The previous value is retained in the Project Category field and the new value on Project Type is saved
