Resolution

The problem was the dataset name length of WU* work files was too large truncating the dataset names.
This caused all the work files to have the same dsname.
Ensure that the prefix for the dataset name specified in the CREATE DSMODEL is not too long. IBM indicate dsname can't be longer than 44 characters, including periods. What you specify in the DSN expression for work file dataset names to be built should take this into account.
