This document describes how to delete or turn off an email disclaimer for Email Security

Cause

Instructions on deleting or turning off an email disclaimer for Email Security.

Resolution

You can delete an existing email disclaimer. For an email address that is associated to the deleted disclaimer, the next disclaimer in the list that applies is used. If you want to use the disclaimer again, instead of deleting it you can turn it off. You can turn it on again when you want.

Note : You can delete multiple disclaimers at a time and you cannot delete the default disclaimer.

To delete an email disclaimer

1. Navigate to the Platform > Email Disclaimers > Current Disclaimers tab
2. To turn a disclaimer off, in the right column click Turn off.
3. To delete a disclaimer, select the disclaimer you want to delete and then click Delete selected.
4. Confirm that you want to delete the disclaimer. The disclaimer is removed from the list.
