Issue/Introduction

After you import a modified CSV file with non-English strings removed to the System -> Agents -> Endpoint Notifications page in the DLP Enforce Console, the Endpoint Notifications are not defaulting back to English strings.

 

Endpoint Notifications appear like the following image with blank boxes:

Resolution

To force the DLP Agent to use English strings in place of the previously deleted language, perform the following steps:


1. Export the CSV file that contains the translated strings from the System -> Agents -> Endpoint Notifications page in the DLP Enforce Console.
2. Duplicate the English language column.
3. In the header row of the duplicate column, enter the language code of the non-English strings that you deleted previously.
4. Save the changes to the CSV file and import the updated CSV file to the System -> Agents -> Endpoint Notifications page in the DLP Enforce Console.

 

You will now see the notifications filled in with the English language text as shown in the following image:
