LiveUpdate upgrade to Symantec VIP Enterprise Gateway 9.11 fails from any version prior to 9.10.3

Issue/Introduction

Antivirus software blocks the Microsoft Visual C++ 2022 Redistributable package installation when using LiveUpdate to upgrade to VIP Enterprise Gateway 9.11 from version 9.10.2 or earlier. 

Cause

A missing or corrupt Microsoft Visual C++ package will prevent validation servers and other services from starting from the VIP Enterprise Gateway console. 

Resolution

To resolve this issue, install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2022 Redistributable package manually before using LiveUpdate to upgrade to VIP Enterprise Gateway 9.11.

If you install this package after upgrading, you must stop and restart all VIP Enterprise Gateway services (rebooting the server has the same effect).

If you upgrade to VIP Enterprise Gateway 9.11 manually, the Microsoft Visual C++ 2022 Redistributable package installs automatically.
