VIP Enterprise Gateway 9.11 fails to uninstall after upgrading from VIP Enterprise Gateway 9.10.x on Windows 2022

Issue/Introduction

Attempts to uninstall VIP Enterprise Gateway fail if you have upgraded from VIP Enterprise Gateway 9.10.x on Windows 2022.

Environment

Windows Server 2022

Resolution

Complete the following steps before beginning the uninstall process:

1. Delete the <VIP EG 9.11 install dir>/.installanywhere/jre folder.
2. Copy the VIP_Enterprise_Gateway9.11.0.bak/.installanywhere/jre folder to <EG 9.11 install location>/.installanywhere.
3. Proceed with the uninstall process.
