TDAD not sending emails over configured exchange server

Issue/Introduction

You have configured an Exchange server to relay your email alerts from on-premise TDAD. However you do not get any emails and there is an error in TDAD core logs:
[ERROR] 2024-02-13 07:55:14.197 [Thread-50] ExchangeEmailProvider - Failed to send email: Could not convert socket to TLS

Resolution

 You need to create a FrontendTransport receive connector on Exchange server with settings shown in screenshot:
