Users with mailId containing both "." and "+" cannot be created in Advanced Authentication

Issue/Introduction

When calling the create user REST API with the mailId that contains both . and + (example: [email protected]), the call fails with the error "invalid parameter: mailId". 

Environment

Symantec Strong Authentication 9.1 SP2

Resolution

This was a defect in the product and the patch Symantec-AdvAuth-9.1.02-DE583277-DevPatch which addresses this issue. Please reach out to support if you need this patch.
