Issue/Introduction

When editing, copying or pasting files within MS OneDrive, 0kb .tmp files are being left behind.

Environment

Symantec DLP Endpoint Agent

Cause

The Symantec Endpoint Agent edpa process is creating 0kb .tmp files if a detected file is being edited or moved during detection.

Resolution

This issue has been resolved in the following releases:

• 16.0.2 (16.0 RU2)
• 16.0.1 MP1 (16.0 RU1 MP1)
