How can I update the password on an SNMP profile

Environment

Any NetOps Performance Management version

Resolution

Go to :

• http://<portal>8181/pc/center/webservice/profiles/
  • note the id of the profile you want to change
• http://<portal>:8181/pc/center/webservice/profiles/<id>
  • so you just see this profile .... note the rank

Using a REST client do a POST with your changes in plain text against:

http://<portal>:8181/pccenter/webservice/profilessaveProfile/<rank>

Portal will push the new values to DA and DA rest output will reflect the new encrypted passwords
